Pues s\u00ed, pero en este caso, dice que viene para hacerte la vida m\u00e1s sencilla y transparente. Ello, creada por un grupo de artistas y programadores, es una red social sin anuncios y donde lo verdaderamente importante es lo que t\u00fa quieres compartir.<\/p>\n<p>Los creadores de Ello quieren marcar la diferencia coloc\u00e1ndose al mismo nivel que el usuario medio. Por eso, habla de c\u00f3mo no deber\u00edamos ser productos, y recrimina al resto de plataformas ver a los usuarios como meras estad\u00edsticas.<\/p>\n<p>Aunque fue lanzada en agosto, en la \u00faltima semana, los registros en Ello se han disparado, y est\u00e1 creciendo a un ritmo de 40.000 usuarios cada hora. Pero, \u00bfpor qu\u00e9 la gente se est\u00e1 uniendo a esta plataforma? Despu\u00e9s de echarle un vistazo, se nos ocurren algunas razones.<\/p>\n<p>Para empezar, para formar parte de la comunidad de Ello hace falta una invitaci\u00f3n de alguien que ya est\u00e1 dentro. Este m\u00e9todo de inscripci\u00f3n es muy efectivo, porque fomenta el boca a boca, y anima a enviar invitaciones a tus amigos, lo que significa que la publicidad y la promoci\u00f3n corren a cargo de los propios usuarios. Puede resultar ir\u00f3nico viniendo de una plataforma que dice que no cree en la publicidad, aunque, t\u00e9cnicamente, es cierto que no est\u00e1n invirtiendo en ella.<\/p>\n<p>Una vez dentro, Ello nos recuerda mucho a Twitter. Un <em>timeline<\/em> nos muestra las \u00faltimas actualizaciones tanto nuestras como de nuestros amigos. Y se trata de compartir mensajes concisos, yendo directamente al grano. Todo es muy sencillo y limpio. Y esto forma parte del objetivo de Ello, que detallan en su manifiesto.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/internetrepublica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ello-logo.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-3956 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/internetrepublica.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/ello-logo-1024x658.png\" alt=\"Logo Elo\" width=\"1024\" height=\"658\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Tolerancia cero\u2026 A la publicidad<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>En este manifiesto, los fundadores hablan de utilizar las redes sociales como un \u201clugar en el que conectarse, crear y celebrar la vida\u201d. Por este motivo, <strong>Ello no tiene publicidad, y permite al usuario dar su consentimiento sobre si quiere que sus datos sean utilizados con fines de investigaci\u00f3n para mejorar la plataforma<\/strong>. Promete que nunca vender\u00e1 datos de usuarios a terceros, porque detestan la publicidad tanto como cualquier otro usuario ah\u00ed fuera.<\/p>\n<p>La publicidad parece haberse convertido en un elemento imprescindible para que algo crezca en Internet. Pero de pronto aparece una red social nueva y se planta en contra de estas pr\u00e1cticas.
